Samantha Vazquez, LCPC
Owner & Psychotherapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and EMDR therapist who was inspired to become a counselor after my own positive experiences in therapy during adolescence. I value therapy because I believe that individuals have the power to change their lives if they are willing to examine and explore the deepest parts of themselves.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in helping families manage the heavy burdens of grief, loss, and trauma. While I specialize in grief related work, I also look forward to working with individuals who are struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other life transitions.
Those who’ve spent time with me may describe me as warm, kind, good-humored, and down-to-earth. I enjoy working with individuals who are open to feedback and willing to try new approaches to their issues or struggles, and I love the feeling of making a positive difference in someone’s day or life. Clients can look forward to being challenged to achieve their goals within a warm, supportive, and encouraging environment.
I’m a West Virginia native and have been living in Chicago for the past 15 years. I enjoy baking, yoga, spending time with my family and friends, walking my dogs, and watching reality TV.

Marisol Arreola, MSW
Bilingual Psychotherapist
I am a bilingual therapist who has a passion in helping others achieve their maximum potential. I understand how overwhelming taking the steps to work on your mental health can be. Therefore, my focus is to always approach others in a gentle and warm manner so that they feel welcomed, supported, and less anxious throughout our time together. With over 10 years of experience, my background consists of working with families, children and adolescents, adults, and individuals who struggle with substance use on all spectrums, including those with a gambling addiction.
In my experience as a therapist, I work on building a therapeutic relationship with my clients first before addressing all psychological, emotional, and behavioral conerns. Your treatment plan will target your goals and desired outcomes in which I will assist you in achieving. I have worked with a wide variety of individuals struggling with many concerns such as grief, parenting, anxiety, depression, and those adjusting to life transitions. I am bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish.
When not working, I spend my days doing hot yoga, gardening, and spending quality time with my family, dog, and friends, they are what keeps me going. I’m a city girl at heart, born and raised in the windy city, a foodie, and someone deeply rooted in her Latina roots.
I believe that finding the right therapist is one of the most important steps in your therapeutic journey and I hope I can be that for you!
