Marisol Arreola, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Bilingual therapist who has a passion in helping others achieve their maximum potential. I understand how overwhelming taking the steps to work on your mental health can be. Therefore, my focus is to always approach others in a gentle and warm manner so that they feel welcomed, supported, and less anxious throughout our time together. With over 10 years of experience, my background consists of working with families, children and adolescents, adults, and individuals who struggle with substance use on all spectrums, including those with a gambling addiction.
In my experience as a therapist, I work on building a therapeutic relationship with my clients first before addressing all psychological, emotional, and behavioral concerns. Your treatment plan will target your goals and desired outcomes in which I will assist you in achieving. I have worked with a wide variety of individuals struggling with many concerns such as grief, parenting, anxiety, depression, and those adjusting to life transitions. I am bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish.
When not working, I spend my days doing hot yoga, gardening, and spending quality time with my family, dog, and friends, they are what keeps me going. I’m a city girl at heart, born and raised in the windy city, a foodie, and someone deeply rooted in her Latina roots.
I believe that finding the right therapist is one of the most important steps in your therapeutic journey and I hope I can be that for you!
